Lessons From The Goose

We can take many lessons from the nature God created. Here are a few lessons from the formation Geese make as they fly North and South seasonally.

#2. When a goose gets sick, wounded, or shot down, two geese drop out of formation and follow it down. They stay with the goose to help and protect it until it is able to fly again or dies. Then they launch out with another formation to catch up with the flock.

Lesson: If we have as much sense as geese, we will stand by each other.

This is true in so many ways. We as Christians should look out for each other. The problem is that when we get shot down we do not want to drag others with us. A friend of mine recently fell. He ended up dragging several people with him. He has withdrawn into himself calling himself poison. Granted he is head deep in sin, but he does have two Christian brothers with strong faith. We will protect him until he can walk and fly again. I never though about the geese like that. I thank you for this.

God bless

Christians are the only people I know who walk up to the scene of an accident and shoot the survivors!

God has called us to help brothers and sisters in Christ through times like that, not execute what is left of their relationship with the Lord.
